Georgina is an editor, author and journalist. She has authored 15 books and five Sunday Times top ten bestsellers, including ghostwriting Tom Daley’s and Tanya Burr’s No. 1 bestselling titles, My Story and Love, Tanya. Other titles include Tom Daley’s Tom’s Daily Plan and Tom’s Daily Goals; Daniel Hume’s The Art of Fire and The Children’s Nurse by Susan Macqueen.
She has written two books under her own name: Peace of Mind: A Book of Calm for Busy Mums, published by Hodder and Stoughton in 2016 and A Year of Reading Aloud, for Yellow Kite in 2018. She is currently working on her first children’s non-fiction title, The Kindness Fairytales.
Her work has been sold in multiple territories across the world and has been serialised in The Times, the Sunday Times, Sunday Times’ Style magazine, the Daily Mail, the Mail On Sunday, the Sun, the Daily Mirror, the Sunday Mirror, Reader’s Digest and YOU magazine.
Georgina studied English Literature at Birmingham University. She started her career in journalism at Entertainment News, before moving to the Press Association, where she managed a team of arts and culture reviewers. From there, she joined PA’s showbiz team, where wrote news and features and interviewed everyone from Bruce Willis, Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson, to Lily Allen and Russell Brand.
From 2008, she worked as Assistant Editor and then Deputy Editor on Star and OK! magazines. In 2013, she left the world of magazines to go freelance. Alongside ghost-writing and authoring books, she contributes to several consumer titles and websites, as well as writing content for corporate and entertainment clients as a creative copywriter. She writes widely and across different sectors, including lifestyle, culture, health, tech and education.
She lives in Buckinghamshire with her husband and two young daughters.
