Emylia Hall is the author of four novels. Her debut, The Book of Summers, was published in 2012; it was translated into eight languages, and was a Richard and Judy book club selection. A Heart Bent Out of Shape was published in 2013, with The Sea Between Us following in 2015 and The Thousand Lights Hotel in 2017. Emylia’s writing and short fiction has appeared in a variety of publications, including Elle magazine, the Book Slam anthology Too Much Too Young, and broadcast on BBC Radio 6 Music. In 2019 Emylia founded Mothership Writers, a creative writing programme for new mothers, funded by Arts Council England.
She lives in Bristol with her writer husband and young son.
