Anthony Thornton has written for NME, The Times, the Independent and Q magazine. In his career he has interviewed people as varied as Bono, Kylie, Janet Jackson and Radiohead. He wrote the first NME reviews for Bloc Party, Franz Ferdinand and Kaiser Chiefs when they burst onto the British music scene. He spent two years with the Libertines which led to his first book The Libertines: Bound Together, the definitive guide to the musical phenomenon of Pete Doherty and Carl Barat.
