Chloe Combi is a former London comprehensive school teacher, educational consultant and specialist on youth issues. She founded the educational charity Write Club which is affiliated with the Eastside Young Leaders Academy and aims to raise the aspirations and achievements of state educated teenagers. She writes for the Times Educational Supplement, The Independent, Guardian, Huffington Post, Marie Claire, and the New Statesman to name a few. An article she wrote on pornography and children precipitated a major national debate and she has been quoted by David Cameron in the House of Commons. Her work on child poverty, gangland culture and street violence granted her an invite to No. 10 and she is a consultant on youth issues for the Mayor of London.
What the audience can expect
Chloe provides an articulate, informed and illuminating understanding of today’s youth. She draws on her wealth of knowledge and first-hand experience of Generation Z to speak with real enthusiasm and authority about the issues they face. Chloe can cover a range of topics including the role of technology in the lives of young adults, gender issues, sex, race, family, education and the future. She plays a key role in helping build communication channels between the generations, particularly with a view on how to motivate this young workforce.
